President Obama was welcomed by the Black Knight of the Hudson for his speech at West Point on Wednesday, but less than 25 percent of the cadets gave him a standing ovation upon his introduction, the Daily Mail reported.
Receiving tepid applause and a short standing ovation from less than one-quarter of the audience upon his introduction, Obama argued for a contradictory foreign policy that relies on NATO and the United Nations while insisting that America must always lead on the world stage, the paper reported.
During his speech, which the Wall Street Journal called consistent with that of every post-Cold War administration, the president also took a swipe at critics, saying: I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being. But what makes us exceptional is not our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law; its our willingness to affirm them through our actions.
Much of the presidents speech focused on using military force only as a last resort and working with allies to solve global conflicts.

Obama argued for a contradictory foreign policy that relies on NATO and the United Nations ...
*******************************************
We belong with NATO. We should shun any association with the UN and tell them to leave the USA.
...the E-7’s thru E-9’s are the people make the things happen, from my perspective having been a sea-going sailor.
************************************
My experience, also. My V-2 Division Chief was E-9 and also Chief Master at Arms of the ship. He basically ran the ship, with approval from senior officers. The Ensigns were afraid of him and the higher ranked officers always seemed to seek his advice. Chief Hoskins was a jewel and I was privileged to work part-time as the Div. Yeoman in the office with him and the Div. Commander, when I wasn’t the cat operator on the starboard cat during launches. I was 18-20 at the time.
Beckel is feeling the pressure and reality of his party. But in the end he blows up in defense of his leader, obozo.
***********************
I saw that Wednesday. Beckel totally blew up during the first 30 minutes and it was hilarious. ...I gained more respect for Watters, as he faced down Beckel’s outrageous comments and was strong in supporting his own comments about the facts.
Ahh...Forgot about them.
sometimes you cant help but have a gut reaction to peoples faces - be it a snide smile, or a Waxmanesque nose that makes them lose all credibility ....but that downward smug smirk is the worst of them all
“A real big shot pResident who will deny WWII veterans the opportunity to see their WWII Memorial That’s right, bozo, pick on the elderly vets, NEVER on any one your size.”
That is a good point. Obama has a particularly vile habit of seeking to torment & punish those whom he perceives as powerless to strike back. His animus toward vets is just sick. He is, as you said, a sociopath. He needed psychological & spiritual help/intervention long ago. Now he is acting out his warped vendettas as POTUS, to the lasting detriment of the USA.
Otoh, do factor this in. Obama has gone out of his way—in some cases, far out of his way—to insult & belittle God. God Himself—the Creator & maintainer of the world. Speaking of picking on someone Obama’s own size. This is going from persecuting vets to dissing the omnipotent Lord God. From a human-sized mismatch to a universe-plus sized mismatch. Obama is out of his league, & then some.
Of course Obama doesn’t perceive the danger in what he’s done. He is not a wise man. But the danger is real regardless of Obama’s perceptions. Don’t think those chickens won’t come home to roost. The timing is unpredictable by mere mortals, but we know it’s not infinite. God will have the last word. Let’s hope & pray Obama repents before it’s too late.
point made - smug in either
yep - that’s it - plus I throw up a little in my mouth each time....same thing used to happened when I ate asparagus as a kid...
is that not a gaydar face or what
and that wagging finger - all my life my dad waved that finger at me in tyrannical fits of rage when we worked together........it makes my blood boil to this day
No. Many laws were broken. What to speak of election fraud, especially massive in the 2012 election.
And it[election fraud] will be more massive in the 2016 election.
You are probably one of the very, very few people in the world who has actual experience across all three combat environments!
As a youngster I was taught finger pointing was rude and now children get arrested for pointing their fingers.
What gives BO the right when he should have no rights at all?
Hah. . haven’t thought of it that way. . .just couldn’t hold a job, I guess.
Did give me a true appreciation for the very different missions and why their cultures are so different as well.
Thanks.
Apology for the late reply.
