Meanwhile, on the other side of the state we're in the midst of a drought like much of the west.

I wish we’d get rain here in Phoenix. Rained here (in my area, which is just the other side of Scottsdale) months ago and it was really just a light short sprinkle.
Rain? What’s that?

I’ll be the first to state the obvious....The rain was caused by global warming. All them glaciers are melting and it is turning into rain.

New England area of the USA is a mess politically, all Democrats in most state like VT, MA, NY CT etc.
The one thing New England has that much of the country lacks is water.

The one thing New England has that much of the country lacks is water. Of course, we have some of that in Eastern Washington State, too. Columbia, Snake, Yakima, et. al. They still flow even during droughts, just not as fast or as deep.

Great. Another wet Washington summer. No wonder I’m not as enthused about my garden this year, it’ll just get washed away. Hmmppff!

first time in 42 years? That certainly doesn’t indicate a pattern of increasing rain due to GW.

Seattle usually just gets drizzle which doesn’t add up that much. But much greater proportion of the time precipitating in some fashion (in the winter) than Houston.

Oh noze! That much rainfall will make Seattle so heavy that it will tip over and sink into the ocean!

Didn't you get the latest memo? It is no longer global warming, not even global climate change. Now it is Global Climate Disruption.
Guess that sounds more ominous. And it can fit anything that the left wants it to.

I don’t think it has been that bad. We had some days of heavy rain, but we had a lot of nice days this winter and spring. I thought we were having a good weather year.

Global wetting. If this keeps up the oceans are going to be full of water.
