Because the environazis agree with their hero Paul Ehrlich:

“Giving society cheap abundant energy is like giving an idiot child a machine gun.”

Some people = leftists.
Despite the abundant evidence to the contrary, not all leftists are morons, yet all leftists will not hesitate to support positions that defy logic and make themselves appear to be stupid if it supports their ideology.
Liberalism IS a mental disorder.
What's the use of being a liberal if you can't lie, cheat, and steal?

Obama should be down on his knees thanking God for the great people of Texas and the Republican governors of other states. Without them, he would have a second Great Depression as his legacy.

I know kids who just graduated from high school making well over $100k (mostly hispanic, deep south TX). There are no minimum wage jobs. Even the pizza delivery drivers make $16/hour. My nephew had to close his powder coating business in Midland because his $25/hr workers headed for the oil patch, and he couldn’t find anyone to take their place. I have a hard time keeping technicians, as they make contacts and move on to higher paying jobs (I can’t raise wages because prices are limited by contractural obligations). A blessing and a curse.

But some still refuse to acknowledge the Texas Miracle.

By "some" he means the Men Seeking Men media.

But nobody is paying attention to them anymore anyway.

>>Texas Is Booming With New Jobs and ‘Dirt Cheap’ Energy<<

Yes, Texas is booming with new jobs, but dirt cheap energy?

I don't think so. Gasoline still above $3.35 a gallon for regular, electricity and propane rates have gone up.

If we're enjoying dirt cheap energy, I'd hate to think what the rest of the nation is paying.

Just an aside to this. Auto insurance rates up, health insurance premiums up, property taxes up, state reg. fees/inspection fees are up, food prices skyrocketing...wages stagnant for the last few years.

Despite the job picture in Texas, corporations are bringing in hoards of foreign workers and hiring for positions at reduced wages. Not as rosy as one might think.

The title assumes that the “naysayers” view a growing economy and jobs the same way that we do.

Bad ASSumption.
