Much of Elliot Rodgers video and written manifestos pointed to a frustration over women not finding him attractive as motive for the killing spree he went on Friday night near UC Santa Barbara that left seven dead including himself. But according to one expert on Fox News this weekend, it was his homosexual impulses that may have driven him to kill.
Dr. Robi Ludwig, a psychotherapist and reality show host, said her theories about Rodgers motives began to evolve the more she listened to his disturbing rants. When I was first listening to him, I was like, Oh, hes angry with women for rejecting him, she told Foxs Jeanine Pirro. And then I started to have a different idea: Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses?
Was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him? she asked. But this is a kid who couldnt connect, and felt enraged, and wanted to obliterate anyone that made him feel like a nothing. Seconds later, she added that even though she had never had a chance to diagnose him in person, she thought he might have had early signs of schizophrenia.
When Pirro pointed out that Rodgers victims including men as well as women, Ludwig asked, Was he angry at the men for not choosing him? This is a kid who was just angry in general and probably felt rejected, he couldnt connect, he couldnt feel loved, he couldnt feel successful. Maybe he didnt feel like a real man.
Following those statements, Pirro wondered why, with all of the apparent problems Rodger had, his school did not do more to alert authorities of his potential for violence. She did not ask why he was able to legally purchase three handguns and

It is striking that Elliot desires women, and is jealous of the other males for having female attention but never seems to have done anything ative to try to attract women. Did he ever ask a girl for a date? Most boys learn this, and will not be put off by inial lack of success: they will try repeatedly. Elliot gives up, and assumes that life is treating him unfairly by not providing for his emotional needs.
His behavior is clearly infantile. He has desires, but will do nothing practical to attain what he wants, much less to consider and purposeful action to make himself attractive to others. Wlliot was an infantile personality, seeking for his needs to be provided. He is a perfect representative of many 21st Century Americans. Someone else must provide: that is an infants world-view.
The first formative crisis in his life was his parents divorce. This cannot be underestimated. It took away his psychic support, and left him stuck in an infantile stage, with the infants attitude: Take care of me!
The anger he demonstrated is also typically infantile. It is characteristic, for small children are not sweet and cuddly all the time. It is normal for even babies to show rage, but fortunately they are too weak to act fully on their emotions.
Of course, bear in mind that I am not a psychiatrist, and dont even the play the part on TV.
Something that isn’t being mentioned among all the wonderment of how a guy who looks like such a chick magnet on paper, couldn’t get laid or even kissed, is that homosexuals of all ages would have also been attracted to him, and they would not have been so put off by his personality, and they would not have been as easy to discourage and drive off as his young female peers.
Twenty two and still a “virgin” who had never had sex with someone? I wouldn’t bet my money on it.
If you read between the lines, then you can find plenty of stuff, but nothing damning.
My take is that he had an undue fear of attractive women. He was unable to go up to and introduce himself to attractive women. Somehow he thought that by dressing nice and driving around in a nice car that women would just come up and introduce themselves to him, but that seldom happens even for the most supposedly desirable "alpha" males that he hated.
The fact that he spent most of his time with other boys was that he wanted his innocent childhood to last as long as possible. He was comfortable around boys, but not in a sexual way. He had as much hatred for boys as girls. He hated the popular boys because they got all the hot chicks. He hated the unpopular boys because they were losers who weren't surrounded by hot chicks.
Basically he was bats**t crazy!
“”Any evidence in his manifesto that he ever ever liked boys??””

I read the manifesto and my conclusion is the writings are more like a script for a movie. It is as if he wants to have a film of his life created after his death. So it is difficult to say if he had homosexual leanings. His mannerisms were certainly befitting a homosexual.
Maybe research into those named in the manifesto could lead to answers.
I heard a portion of his video, and the Gaydar went to 11.
Because, with the exception of Winston Churchill, that accent is faggoty. Am I right?
I’m just teasing. The answer of course is, yes.
Rodger was strange, odd and unusual indeed. He seemed queer as a Hawaiian birth certificate.
The British accent is not faggoty, nor did I suggest that.
But speaking in British dialect with an American accent can sound pretentious and peculiar.
Which is exactly what I experienced when reading his manifesto and watching his video.
Well, that's a matter of opinion, *coughfag!* and on a scale of 1 to 10...yes, it's faggoty.
nor did I suggest that.
Who cares? The spoiled brat was a fag. A faggoty fag more in love with his mirror - autofagaxexual? - than the hundreds of young women who were around him and available every day. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with being a fag (there's something seriously wrong with being a fag), I'm simply stating that gay Holden Caulfield is a bad role model. And brits sound faggy.
We'll have to wait for the Lifetime special to find out.
So did I...
If he wasn’t gay, where did those lips come from? Only a gay or a woman would have his lips injected to make them blow up like that. If they were natural there was something seriously wrong with that boy’s hormones.
Posers like this shouldn't be tolerated but that's the media for you.
7 times you trashed the word for happy. He was not happy. He was a homosexual !
Makes no difference that she was very likely right. There are some truths that are now unsayable in America.
He was wrong to drop his Brit accent. Many women find that attractive, tho not as many as those who find a French accent attractive....
