I don't have a lot of faith in these warnings, much of the time. I live in Davao City, on the Island of Minanao, in the Philippines. We are sent many warnings about travel to this Island, but what they fail to mention is that Davao is one of the safest places on EARTH. You have a much more dangerous situation in Los Angeles, NYC, Philly, or Detroit.
BUT, we are talking about an entire country of CRAZIES, who live their life bowing to Satan five times a day and think nothing of killing someone who doesn't agree!!
