>>Did we win?<<

Why in sam hell are we still in this place? Close to 15 years at war in a place that means nothing to our national security.

How bout Messy-co? Now there's a real threat. How many of our men are going to die in Afghanistan before we leave? What is our mission?

Exactly. We beat the crap out of the Taliban, Bin Laden is dead, etc. etc. etc. By all accounts we have won. And that was several years ago.

Our >current< mission is nation building which is foolish and a complete waste of resources in my opinion. The locals have to want it and it appears that they don’t.

Hey now. Remember, Afghanistan was the War that the Democrats supported.

They hated that other War, where we Freed 25 Million Iraqi’s from a Dictator that had murdered 350,000 + of his own Countrymen.

I’m pretty sure we won that War, but with the slavish Liberal Media and their weekly Troop Death Count, the one that mysteriously stopped when The One took Office, most Americans don’t see it as any sort of a Victory.

The Iraqi’s now have Self Determination thanks to the sacrifices of the United States Military. It’s far from perfect, but it’s the best that can be expected given their Culture IMHO.
