Actually, Google kept it simple and understated with a nice American flag and yellow ribbon image below the search. Pretty tasteful.

So all the blowhards on this thread who were earlier bashing Google are no doubt now hanging their heads in shame.

Google laid the trap and they walked right into it. Open mouth, insert foot.

Google got wind of Public Opinion and then...and only then.. chose to add the American Flag ...well after the fact
