An American citizen whose pregnant wife has been sentenced to death in Sudan for refusing to renounce her Christian faith told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Friday that his wife is staying strong in her convictions despite her ordeal.
Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, whose Christian husband Daniel Wani holds American citizenship, has been held in a Sudanese prison along with her 20-month old son for more than three months.
Wani said on “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” that when his wife’s ordeal began he went to the U.S. embassy and tried to report the case. However, he said he was told to go to the UN because his wife is not an American.
“I say I am an American and she is a doctor, you have to help her but she refuse to do anything,” Wani said of a counselor at the embassy he spoke to.

If someone like Ronald Reagan, or perhaps even George Bush were President, Meriam Ibrahim and her toddler would by now, have been escorted by a full Presidential motorcade (President of Sudan, BTW), to the Khartoum Airport. She, and her son would be placed on a Sudanese government aircraft, to be sent ASAP to the US. With 0.00 in charge, we need to pray for the young lady and her family as the muhamedan-in-chief will do nothing to help her.
So she doesn’t wish to embrace Islam? Well, for the life of me, I can’t imagine why!
Every American should stay out of any nation with more that 6 percent mohamedan worshipers.
She was naive to stay in the Sudan since she must have been aware it’s govt was run by Muslims.

I was at a bible study last week and none of my friends had heard about this woman’s plight. I told them they should be listening to Fox News to get the story. So, that may be why Obama has not done anything yet about Meriam/s. He does not watch Fox News.

OTOH, how about all the conservative radio guys and gals asking for a rally in DC next weekend - Rally for Meriam - or maybe we need to organize groups to put up signs wherever Obama goes. He is such a dolt. My deceased parents would not believe what we are experiencing here with Obama’s administration. Obama’s IQ is underwater.
Because this Christian woman knows that the only unforgivable sin is to deny the Holy Spirit. Unlike fake religions which allow one to lie if the situation calls for it, she understands that either she profess faith or deny faith, and her eternity in heaven will depend on her choice.

Call, write and e-mail your Congressional delegates. Call the Sudanese Embassy. Call that idiot in the White House.
This has got to stop. The U.S. government and western nations need to stop pandering to this vicious persecution of non-Muslims by these savages. What she is facing goes on daily for Christians and other non-Muslims in every Islamic nation on earth.

Because what happens to us in the next life is more important than what happens in this one. To deny Christ, even in extreme circumstances like this, is a serious matter. Remember Peter and the cock crowing- and he made up for it later by being martyred.
On the other hand if the bronze age savages do execute her, then both her and the unborn child die martyrs- straight into heaven, no waiting.
No one in the White House or the State Department has shown any concern whatsoever for this Christian woman, wife of an American citizen and mother of two American citizens. As far as I’m concerned they should all burn in hell for this, but of course that’s not my call.
The reason she didn’t leave Sudan is that she was waiting for our immigration system to finish her paperwork. Meriam tried to follow the rules. Meanwhile the same immigration system falls over itself to flood Texas with illegal Mexicans in hopes of giving political advantage to the Democrats.
As I see it this woman’s only hope is to make her an issue in the midterm elections. Every single candidate from both parties for the House and the Senate must be made to publicly state their position on her plight. I am writing and calling all of my congressional representatives and all candidates in my state.
