On May 24, the family of Santa Barbara shooting suspect Elliot Rodger released a statement through their attorney saying they are "against guns" and support gun control.

Nope. Asian hottie. The only thing hotter is a blonde. Since he can't get mom, he's got to beat daddy, who unlike his son, is the studly type the kid hates.
In one of the videos he made his behavior was one which was that of a psychotic. His mannerisms seem to be that of a comic book character….his wording and phrasing,….. his sardonic laughter…. his grandiose plans to kill…….his view of the world which fails to see his godhood and magnificence, something which only he can see.
His parents failed to see his psychosis, and others paid the ultimate price.
The father's conniption fit is the same as his son's, but he seems to be sociopathic, not psychotic. But, in his mind everyone else is to be blamed. His minimalistic mention of the people his son killed were only tangential to the magnitude of the killers death. He exhibited no shame, no sadness for deaths caused by his progeny. He spent his time extolling the virtue of his murderous son and for his finally he assigned blame to others who had nothing to do with this hideous event.
NRA needs to release a statement asking the family why they raised such an evil little TWAT!!

The shooters family may be against guns but I am against CRAZY people. A gun doesn’t decide, “today I will go out and shoot someone” but a crazy person certainly might. The idiot could have used a hammer, knife (he did use one) and a whole hell of a lot of other weapons to do his dirty work.

“Rodger was found to have three legally purchased firearms along with 41 loaded magazines in his vehicle. The firearms were two Sig Sauer 9mm handguns 1 Glock 9mm handgun. All magazines used were California legal 10 round magazines.
California has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Only certain approved guns can be sold in the state, magazine capacity is limited to 10 rounds, and there are waiting periods to purchase firearms.
California is also one of only a few states that bans the possession of certain types of semi-auto firearms. California has a rating of “A” from the Brady Campaign. California is one of the top 5 strictest states for gun control according to the Brady Campaign.”
I assume that next week California Senator Leland Yee will be submitting a bill in Sacramento to ban all magazines containing more than one bullet and the one bullet will have to be signed out by the ‘registered’ gun owner at his local police station for a fee of $100.00 dollars.

The suspected gunman in the Isla Vista, Calif., shootings was armed with three legally purchased handguns registered to him and 41 loaded magazines, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said on Saturday.
The gunman drove through Isla Vista in a black BMW on Friday night, shooting at people in the beachside community where many college students live. Seven people died in the rampage, including the suspect who was found dead inside of a crashed vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.
Did humans not kill each other before the invention of guns?? In the absence of a gun,do people not use othe inanimate objects__knives,cars,rocks,bricks etc? The only common denominator in ALL murders is...HANDS. All murderers use their hands . No hands..no violence. Add in mental issues and its logical that removing the hands of mental cases would make all inanimate objects harmless.TA DA !!!Safe world! Control the Mentally Ill! Crazy starts in the home. But “biologically”, I think I’m hearing the mother was from Far East Asia, so is the Moroccan Mom what would be considered a “Step-Mom”? It also seems one could say he has some Far East Asian features, features like a Thai or something.
Sounds like the Step Mom is the Moroccan, the biological mom is from Far Eastern Asia, Thailand or somewhere. If I’m wrong on this, I appreciate being corrected.

His parents divorced (when he was 8?) and he went through counseling ever after.
His father is Jewish. His mother was identified as "Asian" but from the photos of the killer, I'm thinking they mean Pakistani or Indian, not Chinese.
