On May 24, the family of Santa Barbara shooting suspect Elliot Rodger released a statement through their attorney saying they are "against guns" and support gun control.

Do they also support knife control since his tabed to death 3 roommates?

The only thing missing in the statement is “The car wash will be held on May 31st”.
They are scratching for anyone, or anything else to blame but their son. First, you had the excuse of “well, we contacted the police about him, they must not have done their jobs” line of argument. This fails when you consider that the actual threatening video was posted online only on the day of the horrific crimes he committed. Second, the murderer’s family tries mightily to shift blame to the NRA, anti-gun control politicians and anyone else they disagree with politically. The bottom line remains that their son came from the very weird Big Hollywood “culture” and he had talked extensively of watching porn online.
They raised a spoiled, insane guy and before the bodies are cold they’re asking for gun control.
The problem here,as usual,wasn’t too *many* firearms but too *few*.
These freakin’ leftists want gun control? California has ‘gun control’. Whey in hell did they not control this insane piece of shit. They knew he was dangerous. Why in hell did they not do something themselves? They spoiled this piece of shit rotten, with BMW etc. Give me a break...

Call me an old fashioned prude, but I think society crossed a line when they allowed a story about kids killing kids (The Hunger Games) to be so glamorized in popular culture. Maybe that sort of unimaginative garbage should be “controlled.”
Ooohhh this stuff makes me boil! Their kid was bats**t crazy. They have money, why didn`t they put him in a private mental facility instead of inflicting him on society? Hell,if you know he`s dangerous build a damn cell and keep him in it, I`m sick of “understanding” mental cases and people who insist they be treated like normal people. Innocent people are dead because people who MAKE crazy people won`t control them. GUNS?? He used a gun to kill people so stop guns? How about they used their genetalia to make a mental case who killed people so I want them castrated and sterilized(after they are sued into living out of a cardboard box poverty-and I`d take that too!) INANIMATE objects can`t kill anyone unless used by humans(or flung by nature) and their mentally DEFECTIVE spawn was an evil murderer THEY inflicted on the world! If anyone I loved were a victim these “parents” would have to hide forever. Oh and the mother is Morrocan so he was likely half Muslim_ which explains everything.
