One of the most shocking elements of her past is the access the Chinese government was given to advanced missile technology during what she herself referred to as the “co-presidency” she and Bill Clinton held from 1993-2001.

This special committee, created by a 409-10 vote of the U.S. House of Representatives on June 18, 1998, was tasked with the responsibility of investigating whether technology or information was transferred to the People's Republic of China that may have contributed to the enhancement of the nuclear-armed intercontinental ballistic missiles or to the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction... ...The committee's final report was approved unanimously by all 9 [bipartisan] members. The full report has never been released.
Why might that be?

Ah, the Barrett Report.
The Barrett Report is so pertinent today with the present day IRS scandal unfolding. This report looked at IRS abuses under the Clintons as well other abuses. Three Democrat Senators succeeded in having this damning report so heavily redacted that its release was meaningless.
However, the three judge panel that oversaw the special prosecutor (Barrett) said the whole report could be released by any member of Congress simply by having it read into the Congressional Record. To date, this has never been done.
Initially, Senator Grassley swore to Tony Snow (on his radio show) that he would have the report read into the Congressional Record but then slowly backed away from his promise.
When Tom Delay was summarily driven from office by vengeful Democrats, I wrote to him, not once, but three times, to release this report as a parting shot at the Dems. He never answered.
What does this tell you about what really is a “one” party system?
My prediction? Sadly, Rep. Bachmann will ignore these requests.
