Thank you for your reasoned response. The urban black culture (gangsta and rap) is destroying the black community. One of the smartest and most respected person I know is Dr. Thomas Sowell. He is black. I would vote for him for president in a heartbeat. I don’t have the answer because we are limited to words on a computer. We’re not talking face to face and therefore it is hard to get the feel of each others facial and body expressions. I don’t hate gays but I hate some of their actions. Do I support their right to their lifestyle in the privacy of their home? Yes. But the aggressive gay agenda being pushed goes against all reason. It’s not equal rights, it’s special rights. That I’m against.
I agree with you! So when you see a new baby FReeper who doesn’t get it, take the time to educate them with compassion instead of banning them and hitting them with uneducated, snide remarks. (I’m not talking about what *you* do, but what I’ve been seeing on FR for the last few years.)
Approach these people with the heart of a teacher and we’ll gain more numbers. As it is, even those who want to learn are beaten off with a stick.
