Sickening, frankly. “The bear is out!” my ass. Leave it to WP to put a ‘spontaneous’ good-hearted nature to this obviously planned foray into the arms of the ‘little people’.

This man should be in jail instead of out concocting optics.

Obviously very staged

I'm sure the area was very thoroughly scoured to ensure there were sufficient Karen types and absolutely, under no circumstances, any Joe the Plumber types for Little Stevie Dunham to 'casually encounter'.

A local radio station runs a daily commentary by Tom Brokaw (yes, he is still around apparently).

Earlier this week he was on there railing about the horrible inconvenience caused to his New York City neighborhood when Lord Obama paid a visit earlier in the week.

All the residents were put on lockdown. Forbidden to come out of their own homes. Outrageous! Total disregard for our liberties! Something really should be done!

At least if you are a retired talking head living on the Upper East Side apparently. If you’re some hourly wage schmuck out there in flyover country, then just shut-up and take it.

Given the gulag-like security preparations for Obama that Brokaw described, no way in hell this stroll on the elipse was spontaneous.
