According to Mother Jones Andy Kroll, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has earned at least $5 million in speaking fees since leaving office in 2013, much of it coming from corporate clients that could complicate her presumptive 2016 presidential bid.
Clinton has made over 90 speeches in the past year-plus, addressing groups from colleges to trade associations to Goldman Sachs. While a good portion of the appearances were unpaid, when Clinton did command a price, it was usually around $200,000, with the price of travel on a private jet included.
Kroll points out that the paychecks will help bankroll Clinton personally for what promises to be a long and arduous campaign for president, but it also sets up openings for rivals, especially anybody who wants to attack her from the left.

She’s really not a good speaker. Those fees are political contributions. As such, it’s expected and understood they’ll be returned with interest when she gets back into power.
This is nothing compared to what former president Obama will command on the Race-Baiter Speaking Circuit.
Apparently there are no liberals willing to take her on.
“Public Servants” Bill and Hillary have made over $100,000,000.00 since Bill was president. I guess that “public service” pays pretty well.
thats too much money! shouldn’t Barry be taxing her at 95%? it will help pay for his jet fuel bills.
this
Absolutely pathetic. What could this ignorant and incompetent socialist have to say that would be worth hearing, let alone worth paying to hear it? Just another sign of how perverted and upside down our world is today.
Public Servants Bill and Hillary have made over $100,000,000.00 since Bill was president. I guess that public service pays pretty well.
Actually, they have made a lot more than 100 million dollars.
Their nte worth is in the several hundred million range and that is after taxes.
Nailed it.
But how? how can she give speeches after she let four people die? do they muzzle her audiences of 150/200? make sure there are no mikes in the audience? or maybe she does her speeches in elementary schools?
“But how? how can she give speeches after she let four people die? do they muzzle her audiences of 150/200? make sure there are no mikes in the audience? or maybe she does her speeches in elementary schools?”
These speeches are not open to the public. People paid to be there. They get to meet and greet. She gives a prepared speech, probably as cover so they can maintain the pretense that it’s some civic function. But rest assured she knows who is there and what they want.
On a side note, the Democrats, with their competing constituencies, are running into the same problem the British did after WW1. The Brits had made conflicting promises to diametrically opposed groups, promising them the same things. (Jews vs. Arabs come to mind.) The Dems have promised coal states they’d relieve the carbon footprint legislation and they’ve promised greenie nuts they’d enhance the same laws. Now, neither of these groups will ever vote Republican, but they might sit out the next election like the Conservatives did with Comrade Romney and Comrade McCain.
How did they make the money? In several ways.
(1) Bill's calculated presidential moves profited numerous entities who were then hit up for donations to the three Clinton tax-exempt "foundations.
(2) Bill's pardon pen was useful in pardoning voting blocs which got Hillary elected to the US Senate as a prelude to her presidential ambitions.
(3) As ex-Secy of State, Hillary's current income alone is estimated at a hefty $600,000.
(4) As one example of the Clintons gaming the system: News reports say the State Department announced it has "no idea" what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors..... a special management alert warned significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at State has led to billions of unaccounted dollars....under Hillary's watch.

you got to wonder how she will give speeches if she runs.what are they going to do,mandatory interviews of anyone who wants to buy a ticket?make sure they are all registered liberals?
Yes, she needs to be paying her “fair share” of all that wealth she obtained because of “white privilege”.
It takes a village [of entitlement leeches] to pay all the bills.
That’s $1.25 million per kill-not to bad for one days work.
It is astoundingly easy to steal govt money. One commonly-used, ridiculously easy MO: A crooked govt insider in collusion w/ govt factotums creates phony invoices (supposedly submitted by "contractors" for work that never existed).
The govt agency then writes the check to pay the bill out of govt funds set aside for contractual work. But the check is deposited in a secret LLC account, accessible only by the crooked insider.
Billions can be stolen in this easy-peasy, no-sweat manner....especially if you head the agency.

The press will treat her like she’s the Queen of Hearts and can scream, “Off with your heads!” I’d imagine they’ll handle larger audiences much like they do Obama’s. If somebody does get in who is going to shout an embarrassing question he’ll be tazered and arrested. The press will likely not report the incident and the larger public will never hear of it.
