It looked to me as though, if McCain had let Palin take control or at least have an equal voice in the campaign, we could have won that race, and the future would have looked good with a president Palin on the horizon.

IMO, if Palin wasn’t chosen, McCain would have lost by 30 points. Once she was chosen, her sound bites overshadowed his own. That’s why she was so effective in helping him avoid a real drubbing.

It was a very tough year, and every time McCain opened his yap, he cost the team votes. Remember that doozie, him defending Obama, telling folks they had nothing to fear from an Obama victory?

She wasn’t muzzled. He was just too big an idiot to rescue.

I was not voting for McCain. I did when Palin was added to the ticket. I am not the only one. They can spin this top for as long as they want it won't change the facts.
