According to this line of thinking, the Earth should already have been colonized, or at least visited.
But no convincing evidence of this exists.

Problem with the Fermi Paradox is it never really grasps just how big things are even at a “practical” pace of interstellar travel it’s a long haul. Not to mention that it completely ignores the fact that as of yet we have no idea how long it takes to get from beginning to have science to a practical pace of interstellar travel if such a thing is even possible.
