Support for the tea party has dropped to an all-time low, said a new CBS News poll released Wednesday. Just 15 percent of Americans told the pollsters that they are supporters of the tea party movement today, which is less than half the level of support at its peak of 31 percent in November 2010 shortly after the midterm election when the movement fueled a landslide Republican win to take majority control of the House.

Your entire post is garbage.
The primary’s are not the main event many things are in the works fear not.
It’s not mine, but I think someone here on FR created it.
It’s out there on the internet, but you can’t make people search for it or look at it.
I think the conservative media is aware of it.
If you want to know how I found it, I googled ‘incestuous relationships’.
I re-read carefully what I stated, and stand by every word.
“Yep, signs and protests aint gonna get it done, I am afraid to say.”
The Tea Partiers thought the government didn’t understand the problems they were creating. “If only Stalin knew...”
They were naive. They did not imagine the power at stake that they threatened. Every Member of Congress, paid $174K, retires a multi-millionaire. Every Federal regulator can grind people superior to him in every way into the dirt every single day.
They will not volunteer to change.
It’s sad when the Republican establishment is agains lower taxes and smaller government. There’s only a smidgen of difference between the GOPe and RATs.
Well stated. Matt Bevin went to that stupid cockfighting thing, then lied about it. I think he lost the victory right there. Some of these tea party candidates are extremely green and seem to have stupid campaign managers working for them.
Pithy, but what makes grania's comment garbage? For example, the rush to defend Cliven Bundy was misplaced. For as much time as the average TPer spends on current events, a look into Bundy's situation, IMHO, required more thought from a strategic standpoint.
I had no problems with grania's post.
I have a quick question.
Why did Mr. Bevin lose this primary? Saw something about cockfighting, not sure. Did he say or do something that cause him to lose. Thank-you ahead for your response.
He lost because there wasn’t sufficient belief that Bevin could beat a Democrat in the general.
If we can beat Cochran and Lindsey it would a successful primary season.
I'm starting to realize that a much bigger factor in elections is who does not bother to vote. I would think that those who supported Obama would have difficulty finding their motivation in the next couple of election cycles.
You might even see former Obama supporters turning out in anger over the next few cycles.
Stand by your lecture . Thats fine. It’s just platitudes to me.
TPers got “enough financing.”
They screwd up.
Weren’t cohesive.
No “vision.”
No instincts
Bundy (non sequitor)
Not articulate “across spectrum” ?
“Can’t whine” (like you aren’t)
More convincing
“Path into (Rino) office”
Come on man. That is a serious rant.
That could be bad news for the GOP. Demoralizing the TEA Party will be a huge win for the democrats.
FWIW, I gave up on the tea party label when many who flaunt that label haven’t been 100% behind EVerify and ending the invasion of the US.
