President Obama makes a statement following his meeting with head the Department of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki.
(Live feed at source link.)
if he does, we will know he’s lying again.
Ken, am doing my best to cause him to take questions. If zer0 doesn’t take questions he’s lying.
We need to capitalize on this and equate VA with single payer. Everybody just start calling it the VA “single payer” system.
He will give his commentary/speech and that will take care of that.
Next issue.

Doesn’t make any difference how ‘madder than hell’ he is or how many red lines or how many promises to cut red tape. Five minutes after this issue is off of the front pages, he will ‘move on’ and will expect his media cohorts to do the same.
30 minutes late looks like a winner...
May be I'll check back in about an hour from now to see if he has shown up?
I’ll bet Rush is away again today. So at least 0 doesn’t have to wait until after 3pm eastern.
” Unacceptable, heard about it on the news, mad as hell, hold accountable, start an investigation, if the reports are true,.....” Did I miss any ?
If he hurries he’ll probably have enough time to get in 18 holes this afternoon.
Rob is going to Phoenix today.
(To see about John’s long mustache?)
Held accountable..just like those who attacked Benghazi have been held accountable
Here’sssssssssssssssss Barry!

Reading his speech. Not showing much emotion. Couldn’t tell by his demeanor that he is ‘madder than hell’ that this issue ever came to light.

‘I will not stand for it’ ... cooking the books, etc.
“IF” these allegations are true, I will not stand for it!
[IF ?????????????????]
Ohhhhh. Some people have already been put on administrative leave. [a.k.a., vacation]
yada yada yada
Problems have been going on for a decade [blame predecessor]. He has been working to fix these problems since he became president — ‘been working really hard’ no less.
Anyone know when the Benghazi hearings begin?
VA is working better than five years ago because rather than treat their illnesses we let them die.
0bama hates veterans . . . they are responsible for killing many of his brothers in the muslim hood.
does not matter what Obama says ,he’ll think it’s fixed just by making a statement ,like always
That reminds me of a joke...
QUESTION: How many 0bama voters does it take to change a light bulb?
ANSWER: Two. One to hold the light bulb and complain nobody is screwing it in for them and one to handle the EBT card to pay for the six pack of beer and case of Prime steaks!
Miami VA Whistleblower Exposes Drug Dealing, Theft, Abuse
MIAMI (CBSMiami) When asked why he would risk his job and speak publicly, Detective Thomas Fiore considered the question carefully before answering.
People are dying, he finally said, and there are so many things that are going on there that people need to know about.
Fiore, a criminal investigator for the VA police department in South Florida, contacted CBS4 News hoping to shed light on what he considers a culture of cover-ups and bureaucratic neglect. Among his charges: Drug dealing on the hospital grounds is a daily occurrence.
Anything from your standard prescription drugs like OxyContin, Vicodin, Percocet, and of course marijuana, cocaine, heroin, Ive come across them all, he explained.
Even inside the hospital, he says he was stopped from doing his job investigating reports of missing drugs from the VA pharmacy. When the amount of a particular drug inside the pharmacy doesnt match the amount that the pharmacy is supposed to have, a report, known as a discrepancy report is generated. Normally it was his job to investigate the reports to determine if they were the result of harmless mistakes or criminal activity. But all that changed, he said, about two years ago.
I was instructed that I was to stop conducting investigations pertaining to controlled substance discrepancies, he recalled.
He said he was personally told to stop investigating them by the hospitals chief of staff, Dr. Vincent DeGennaro.
