To build a utopian America where everything is perfect as defined by our wise liberal ruling class, first the old America must be eradicated. That means erasing the heritage that makes the country what it is. National treasures like Mark Twain have to go:
An effort to name a Lake Tahoe cove after American literary icon Mark Twain has been scuttled for the second time in three years, citing opposition from a tribe that says the writer held racist views of Native Americans.
It should be noted that most everyone who lived in the 19th century held views of Indians that would be regarded as “racist” according to modern liberal ideology. It should also be noted that one reason Twain’s writing was more interesting than the P.C. pabulum excreted today is that he took an irreverent tone toward everyone, having no way of knowing that one day it would be a thought crime to poke fun at any group revered as victims.
The Nevada State Board on Geographic Names this week voted to indefinitely table the request after hearing opposition from the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, whose ancestral homeland includes Lake Tahoe. Darrel Cruz, head of the tribe’s cultural resource department, said the late author did not deserve to have a scenic cove on the lake’s northeast shore named for Samuel Clemens, Twain’s real name.
With all due respect to Mr. Cruz, why is up to him what we name lakes? I thought we won the Indian Wars. Otherwise, we would be sleeping on the ground in teepees and dying of old age at 32.
But of course, it isn’t Indians suppressing our culture and deleting our heritage. It is cultural Marxists, who use people like Cruz the same way they exploit blacks, gays, et cetera. Before they are finished with their fundamental transformation, no one will remember that Mark Twain ever lived.

He was brilliant, hilarious and all American, even travelling abroad and reporting from there.

Teach your kids. Surround yourself with people that have your values, your heritage, your traditions, and keep passing them down. And jealously guard those precious things of OUR culture.

Twain was about as non racist as they come but he was brutally honest.

Judging from what I have read in contemporary accounts of the West including very unflattering descriptions of the Diggers as real primitives, I do not think these Indians would want a politically incorrect debate about the facts of the matter as they obtained in the 1860s when Sam Clemens encountered these people.

Your quite correct and what’s weird is that when cultural Marxists erase historical context, they have to fill the void that results with their own twisted version of history. This is very similar to what happened in the USSR when they erased the history of the Stalin era.
It works in the US because the cultural Marxists in the US have complete control of the K-12 Public Education system. I anticipate that the remnants of “our culture” will eschew the Public Education system and the result will be a Dual system or perhaps even, a multi-culture system. The Hispanics will have their version, the Asians will have their system, etc. Divide to conquer.

Twain’s Huck Finn is a banned book because of the dreaded “N” word, so he’s easy pickings for Indians (feathered, not dotted)
Minorities refuse to look at things through the eyes of time. Such a thing now has been rendered unacceptable (not to me), but back then it was a “norm”, view it as such and STFU. Be happy for the progress that has been made since then.
