Wife texted me that there were more police and emergency vehicles than she'd ever seen, thrashed car, one perp (female) handcuffed next to large black bag, apparently driver dead and police officer in critical condition.
Anyone closer to this?
Multiple LEO’s in body bags?
Bad day at the Donut shop!
Nope, this is Alamo, CA
Not to mention “Alamo, CA” in the headline... :-/
I live just off I-680 in Danville. Here is the local news story:
This did NOT happen in Texas, Alamo is in Contra Costa County, California. About 25 miles east of San Francisco.
bookmark for updates.
Although this thread is titled:
>>Anyone hear of a big chase and/or shootout in Alamo, CA today?
“Today”, but the article says “last September”. The story is slugged “March 13, 2013”
>>An investigation into the shooting death of a California Highway Patrol officer on Interstate Highway 680 near Alamo last September found that the shooter was mentally troubled and pro-guns.
Note the info at the top of this thread:

That's more like it. Under topix.net there's a quote of this thread and someone responded: > John/Lafayette CA/ 5 hours ago:
>>I witnessed the same thing. 20+ police vehicles, sheriff to CHP, and unmarked law enforcement. I cannot find information. It looked like a war zone.
perhaps it was just a case of workplace violence by an adherent to an oppressed Middle Eastern Religion!!
“Today, but the article says last September. The story is slugged March 13, 2013
I did not catch that. This appears to be old news. There isn’t anything in the local press today. I am left wondering why these idiots post this stuff. The killing mentioned in the article did happen back then. Sorry I missed the date. There is still a roadside memorial on the freeway fence marking the spot.
