Kentucky should be solid fly over country and conservative. There is no excuse for a wishy washy girly man in that state.

If you vote for a nut case, you are a nut case.

I don't like either of them!

For all the reasons you cited, Strauss is worse than Dewhurst!

Actually, what you are is a malcontent. All knotted up because everyone does not agree with you 100%. If you are so high and mighty, why don’t you run for office and see if people vote for you or ignore you. I won’t tell you my betting odds.

Ky has more registered democrat voters than GOP voters.
McConnell only won his last election by 6%.
McConnell has trashed and “crushed” the same Tea Party voters he will
need to win in the general.

The math says it will only take a small % of pissed off conservatives
staying home to send McConnell packing, no matter how many Bushites
show up to vote for McConnell.

The odds are not with McConnell.

once he realized he couldn’t beat the Democrat in November, he would have stepped down.

It's pride.

Strauss and Dewhurst need to go. Dewhurst has blocked too many conservative bills, and given too much power to the Democrats that he didn't have to give.

The good-ole-boys in Texas that are running the State house need new jobs.

I hope you don't vote for that liberal Dewhurst.

People do change in 30 years, and Patrick doesn't have Dewhurst's record of sidelining conservatives.

I hope you aren't a low information voter that is buying into Dewhurst's lies.

You seem to ignore the recent past when the GOP controlled the Senate. And you seem hell bent on cheerleading a repeat performance of that fiasco.

No thank you.

Ah, but the real numbers lie in the primary turnout.
Grimes is getting a lot more Rat votes than McConnell GOP votes.
That is a big red flag.

McConnell needs to find his inner Jeff Sessions.

Born Addison Mitchell McConnell, Jr.
February 20, 1942 (age 72)
Sheffield, Alabama, U.S.

If Obama gets an amnesty bill before November McConnell loses. If Rand Paul votes to move amnesty forward Mitch loses.
*****************************************************************

If Grimes is still breathing come election day, McConnell loses.

But are there blue dog democrats who vote GOP but dont go to primaries?

Grimes can attack the GOP with Rand’s voter ID stance.

Nope. I'm not a malcontent. I just want to be left alone in a conservative America.

That can't happen when republican politicians are supporting Reid's agenda, or the speaker of the house is supporting amnesty.

It's time for conservatives to think strategically, and remove the liberal leadership of the republican party. Long term, that's the only solution that allows conservative governance, and it's within reach today by just saying no to liberal republicans.

It's pride

It proceedeth the fall. (It goes before the Destruction: Psalms 16:18)

looking at Georgia in detail, sadly, it looks like Handle might over take Kingston. Kingston is dominate int he southern Savanah region where Sunny Perdue (David Perdue's father) is from. 75%+ Up in the more populous Atlanta area, Perdue is winning with the low informed types, but Handle is closing also because of name recognition. rats.

OK...I can go for that and Johnny, that is EXACTLY how conservatives can gain an advantage and that is by not electing Boehner as Speaker of the House. And as an added bonus, with the exception of Pelosi, most former Speakers resign (such as Hastert). With Boehner's district being republican, his replacement won't hurt the voting margins in the House.

Instead of wanting dems to win elections, the conservatives need to fight from within and bring in new leadership. That would be a great help and service. I can get on board with this.

No, it isn't a red flag because dems outnumber repubs in the state by about 55% to 38%. With more registered dems, they always outvote the repubs in primaries.

I’m sure there are. But primary voter numbers are an indication
of voter enthusiasm.

I'm not a republican. I think the party is a vipers nest of pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-amnesty liberals in the leadership positions. But only because they govern that way.

I don't care how Mitch gets taken out, primary or general. He has to go. Because long term, strategically, that liberal can't govern conservatively. The republicans are likely to gain seats to offset the loss of Mitch's seat.

Until they start governing conservatively, I don't give a damn if they get a majority or not. One liberal is the same as another to me, regardless of party.

“looking at Georgia in detail, sadly, it looks like Handle might over take Kingston. “

Karen Handel is not going to make up 30,000 votes, That would be 7% of all votes cast.

Not going to happen. I am surprised this one has not been called yet.
