Scissors in hand, anti-EU nationalist Geert Wilders of the Netherlands on Tuesday (20 May) vandalized the European Union flag in front of the European Parliament in Brussels.
In a publicity stunt amid the dozen or so cafés at Place Luxembourg, overlooked by the parliament’s tall glass structures, Wilders cut out a yellow star before unfolding the Dutch flag in its place.
The nationalist, who runs the Dutch Freedom Party, is convinced he will be able to form a new group of euroskeptic MEPs following the upcoming European Parliament elections. He wants the Netherlands to leave the Union, regain its sovereignty, and shut down its borders to asylum seekers. …

His book ‘Islam’s War Against the West & Me’ is a very interesting read. I recommend it. Wilders is by no means a conservative, but he is by far the best viable option the Netherlands has right now. No one on the continent understands Islam better.

I will side with someone with a liberal/libertarian idealolgy if they recognize the barbarians at the gate, after the dust has settled, it is safe to start battle with them in a war of ideas again.

Nationalism will always trump any international program. It killed International Communism and will kill the EU and then the UN. Its a Tribal thing. The world has learned these supra organizations talk promise but deliever nothing but corruption. EU will go soon—within five years. It will be as dead as the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. Geert Wilders will lead Holland out—and the UKIP will do the same to England. LePen will move out France and a new government in Germany will ease out the Germans. A new organization will replace it—one with few controls.

Things are now, finally, starting to heat up in Europe. Buckle your seatbelts, it may soon get bloody there, yet again.
Will he be prosecuted for this? Sounds like they'll find a "hate crime" of some sort about it.
