Good question. I worked as an assistant chaplain at a Veteran’s Hospital in Lex, Ky, way back in the early 80’s. One of my wards was alcohol/drug rehab.
I remember one guy in particular who came in all beat to hell about the head and shoulders. He couldn’t (or wouldn’t) remember what happened to him. Kept saying something about a fence post. It wasn’t a driving accident.
