Low bar
You are determined, just determined, to find fault with the man and miss my earlier point, that going out too early with a substantive plan is to court guaranteed destruction in the minds of the low-info voters before it even has a chance to garner support. Timing is vitally important.
So instead we're supposed to vote for the person with no plan and no positions and just hope for the best? I guess low-info voters make up the whole electorate in your view.
I've read what the man has to say already, on health care and an number of other issues, I'm not impressed. Dr. Carson appears to be a fine man and I'm sure he was an excellent doctor, but if he's really looking for something to fill his time in retirement then I suggest he take up golf rather than run for the presidency.
Bump for later
You have never acknowledged the strategic reasons I have put forth two or three times. You are wringing your hands about whether to vote for him, but the election is more than two years away and he isn't even nominated yet. There haven't been debates yet. If he put all his goods out there now, the so-called "leading" GOP candidates could as easily swipe his ideas as the left could denounce them. He is strategically correct in holding back until the debates. But your mind (?) is made up!!!!
That is why I have suggested that you are biased. So I won't be posting to you any further.
——, showing a verbal fluency that rivals the great orator of the left, Barack Obama. ——
LOL....I hope the author wiped his chin....
I so agree! I think he may ultimately prove to be viable candidate, but even if not, I’d love to have him on that stage playing the role of the proverbial gadfly.
Strategy my butt. You're saying that candidate should run on nothing because otherwise it might confuse the electorate. So how are we supposed to choose if the candidate don't say what they stand for?

There's no hand wringing to it. I'm sure Dr. Carson is an excellent surgeon and a find individual, but after 8 years of amateur hour in the Oval Office I'm not interested in another four years with Dr. Carson.

As you wish.
Absolutely not. Reading comprehension...
Carson is eloquent, a fair debater, handles himself well so far (as long as it’s slow-pitch), and has many good ideas...But oversimplified solutions to complex problems, woven with platitudes should not a Presidential candidate make...
That’s what we already have with FUBO in the White House...
And after hearing Dr. Ben’s 2nd Amendment views he’s off my list...Someone who’s statements tell us he lacks fundamental understanding of the origins and meaning of RKBA, and still may fancy himself a POTUS prospect has already lost his way with conservatives...When Carson gets his mind right on the 2nd A score, I might start listening again...
And remember folks, easy answers, a calm demeanor, and superlative expertise in one area of endeavor (surgery) does not automatically translate into political skills and leadership potential (ala Reagan)...
Humble suggestion: Go SLOW on this guy...
I subscribe to that!
I don’t believe that will keep them from trying further. Recall Dan Rather’s efforts to aid in such an effort even though the rumors had been debunked. I believe the absolute worst about democrats, whose only commandment is win.
