Bystanders file suit after being detained by Aurora police looking for suspect
They act all surprised when they turn their back to G_d and walk away and end up there!
Just where did they think they were headed?
Please add me to JBT ping list. Thanks.
You are now on the list, Citizen.
I think I’ll call .....later. Drink up!
Ya, it isn’t like a cop would resort to intimidation.
Make an issue of our behavior peasant....
Second cup. Up to almost civil.
He looks neutral. No fear, no anger, just ho hum, another checkpoint. Like this is perfectly normal. Am I wrong?
That’s what I saw, too.
Slight..............annoyance, but tolerable.
Sad.
No idea. I can’t read it m’self.
I *think* he’s gone into total pokerface mode to avoid giving the officer any excuse (I felt threatened) to off him on the spot.
I *think* I see a mixture of disgust and annoyance in his eyes.
Strangely, I don’t see much in the way of fear. No fear. This citizen needs more beatings...
Sad is how I reacted to that facial expression. A polite officer writing me a ticket would get more of a response from me.
I’m saddened too.
If so the man is a master poker player. I have the same personality type as my alter ego. (see wiki entry on SpeakerToAnimals)
I always lose at poker.
I suppose it’s a better nic than EaterOfGrass...
Good catch!
been there, done that with a few cops ...although never with a rifle pointed at my face...
the day a cop points a weapon at myself, or especially the kids, will create a long term shopping list...
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (AP) Some residents of a suburban Sacramento city still were waiting to return to their homes 24 hours after a Friday night shootout between law enforcement agents and a wanted parolee left six officers injured. With this guy running loose the local and state police were understandably a wee bit antsy...Roseville police spokesman Lt. Cal Walstad said that one Roseville police officer with a jaw wound and a federal immigration agent shot in the leg remain hospitalized Saturday in serious condition. Four other Roseville officers injured by shrapnel were treated and released.
The suspect in the violent confrontation that ended after an hours-long standoff is a validated gang member with a criminal record that includes assault and carjacking. Samuel Nathan Duran, 32, was taken to the Placer County jail Saturday after being treated for scrapes and cuts after surrendering just after midnight.
"Last night our community experienced what can happen in any when a violent wanted felon is completely committed to not going back to jail," said Roseville Police Chief Daniel Hahn at a news conference Saturday...
Consumer model GPS units are only accurate down to around a few meters in optimal conditions and the conditions are rarely optimal.
Anytime you are close to buildings trees power lines etc. the accuracy can fluctuate widely...
Military grade units I am sure are a different matter...
And the motorist probably knows about the shootout. And I understand the motorists attitude. This stop is different than the subject of the thread.
I note that Officer Chubb-y in the background has his weapon pointed in a safe direction, while Officer Chubb-up in the foreground doesn't.

Good thing nobody had a dog in their car or it could have been a mass shooting by gun pointing cops.
Good point from the guy about the robber running into an apartment building and what would the result be from the cops, put all the people living in the apartment in handcuffs?
