In a pointed and at times personal speech, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on Saturday morning argued that Americas struggle for racial equality has become defined less by expressions of outright bigotry than by policies that subtly but systematically impede equal opportunity.
Speaking during the commencement ceremony at Morgan State University, a historically black college in Baltimore, Holder referred obliquely to a series of racially charged episodes that have received substantial media coverage in recent weeks an apparent reference to the controversial comments made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy. But Holder also said that the outlandish statements that capture national attention obscure a more troubling reality.
These outbursts of bigotry, while deplorable, are not the true markers of the struggle that still must be waged, or the work that still needs to be done, he said.
The greatest threats, he said, are more subtle. They cut deeper. And their terrible impact endures long after the headlines have faded and obvious, ignorant expressions of hatred have been marginalized.
The comments were Holders most extensive on the subject of race since early 2009, when he gave a speech during Black History Month that generated controversy and reportedly infuriated President Obamas chief of staff at the time, Rahm Emanuel....

Subtle racism, like the Department of Justice refusing to prosecute Black Panthers who went to the polls, armed, to intimidate white voters away? Like that?Love,
Or maybe, Mister (With)Holder, you mean the subtle racism of the Department of Justice refusing to prosecute, as a Federal 'Hate Crime', any of the Knockout Game perps... EXCEPT the SOLE example of a white guy who engaged in the 'game'?
Or perhaps it is the subtle racism of urging schools to stop disciplining black troublemaking students, adhering, instead, to a quota system?
No, I'm sorry, never mind. Those are all BLATANT examples of BLACK RACISM.
Ya freakin' chode.
Laz
Racist Holder? Look in a mirror, blood.
If you count the War on Poverty in there, I'm waiting for them to get over.

Eric Holder and obama are racists along with being mass killers of over 400 people in Mexico. What are their plans for Americans with all the weapons they are having every agency buying?
From my earlier post on this same Holder appearance.
Up until a few years ago we could prove that the Victims Industry was lying. There were published DoJ statistics showing the true numbers about inter-racial violence.
Thus with DoJ Criminal Victimization 2007 Table 42 I was able to verify
Patrick J. Buchanan writings in Suicide of a Superpower, An analysis of single offender victimization figures from the FBI for 2007 finds blacks committed 433,934 crimes against whites, eight times the 55,685 whites committed against blacks. Interracial rape is almost exclusively black on white with 14,000 assaults on white women by African Americans in 2007. Not one case of a white sexual assault on a black female was found in the FBI study.
But since Obama-Holder Department of Just Us and Our People the victim-offender race stats are missing. If someone can point to DoJ files with the old Table 42 data for the years 2009 to present I'd be happy to admit that I am wrong. That would mean the Holder's call for "honest" discussion was serious.
The only thing hurting is the fact that Black people who never ran anything are running this country into the ground.
Inexperience is one thing, but arrogance not to get the best and brightest (even if that mean whites, and Asians for advice).
From the culture Oprah, JZ, Magic, and every TV show having the Boss character played by a black actor/actress.
To the fact that the whole government is run by Holder, Jarrett, Rice, Obama, Michelle, etc, its their failures that will forever leave the impression that blacks can’t manage or succeed in leading.
Black colleges have the worst scores in education, I pity the person who has a doctor who attended a black college like Micheal Jackson’s doctor did.
But its the arrogance of not OK ing the Keystone pipeline, allowing repatriation of 1.5 Trillion in oversees profits that is the big problem here.
Add to that the over the top partisanship that has gummed up the works where even bills with bi partisan support can’t get to be law. And laws are made in an extra legal way by fiat.
Food fight?

Examples ? If he doesn’t have any, of course they can’t be critiqued.
Humans all of colors make stereotypes and pattern recognition is a pre-requisite for higher level thinking.
Barry & Eric have set back race relations by decades.
To paraphrase to 60s radicals: What if they tried to start a race war, and nobody came?
How about the subtle racism of the AG not looking at a map of virtually any city in the country showing the preponderance of killings in very circumscribed boundaries, as though the people who live there really just don’t count for very much at all?
Eric Holder is a bigot.
Subtle racism?
Hm?.....The first thought that came to my mind was, ...yeah!...Subtle like a dog whistle! It takes special ears and eyes to hear it and see it.
These people are obsessed with their own skin color.
Most of us don’t pay attention to what color skin people wear - it’s what’s inside that counts.
And that just infuriates the racists like Holder even more.
The Hits Just Keep On Coming!
Here’s one we all know and love...an oldie but goodie.... from 2009
Holder: “U.S. a ‘nation of cowards’ on race discussions”
http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/18/holder.race.relations/
the race discussion Id like to have with this clown is to point out that theres really NO NEED for a race discussion in the classical sense.
