Terrible reporting...
This patient in Florida potentially infected 20 other hospital workers who are all in quarantine for 14 days...
I think two are known to be infected...
"TORONTOA doctor who travelled to Canada after having contact with Floridas first MERS patient has tested negative for the virus, the Public Health Agency of Canada said yesterday. The unidentified man is being asked to stay in the country for several more days until officials feel confident he isnt infected with Middle East respiratory syndrome virus and that it is safe for him to travel.
It can take as long as 14-16 days to develop MERS disease and the negative testwhile a good signis not clear-cut proof he isnt coming down with the infection.
When I think of an Orlando case I just think of all the international travelers exposed and now going to their homes in countries all over the world.
There will be lots of travel during the 14 days before they are sick. At least enough to seek medical help!
I wonder if I am an alarmist or if it is a real possibility?
