n a speech in Washington on Friday, Hillary Clinton repeatedly criticized economic and social conditions under President Obama, barely mentioning the accomplishments of the man who appointed her secretary of State. Clinton's address, at the New America Foundation, was a broad indictment of the country's current leadership, with exactly one -- one -- note of praise for the Democratic president Clinton has called her partner and friend.
Clinton, never known for self-effacement, began by noting her lifelong desire to make the world a better place and the "driving force" toward public service instilled in her by her mother. From there, Clinton went on to describe the United States today as a very troubled place.
In remarks focused almost exclusively on domestic economic concerns, Clinton began by noting what she called "the basic bargain of America." "No matter who you are or where you come from," she said, echoing her husband's campaigns from the 1990s, "if you work hard and play by the rules, you'll have an opportunity to build a good life."
But: "For too many families in America today, that isn't the way it works. Instead of getting ahead, they're finding it harder and harder than ever to get their footing in our changing economy. The dream of upward mobility that made this country a model for the world feels further and further out of reach."
Millions of Americans are "frustrated, even angry" about today's economy, Clinton said. Falling into poverty is a constant threat, and upward mobility is almost impossible. "Forget about getting rich," Clinton told the audience, "I'm talking about getting into the middle class and staying there."
While productivity is up, Clinton noted, "wages have stagnated." "Americans are working harder, contributing more than ever
and yet many are still barely getting by."

So what states will she lose that Obama got?
Benghazi.
It's not the good old days when you could make $100,000 in six months trading cattle futures in your spare time.
Oh? And this waste of sperm had nothing to do with it?
I submit for the country's consideration two items she is directly responsible for; the Keystone Pipeline, and Benghazi. The first is clearly a major economic failure and the second is clearly a huge social/moral failure.
Hillary Clinton is a sociopath who should have been in prison long ago. She should be on death row now.

Not only that, there are other fronts in an overall strategy.

You said....
“Hillarys one and only chance to be president has come and gone. The Democrats want new blood and not old farts like the Clintons, and after eight years of this trainwreck the American people wont put in another lefty to follow. Maybe Im being optimistic but I refuse to accept that the Hillabeast is a done deal for 2016.”
Agree.
Right now, she has no opposition and name recognition. I remember when she was going to be the 2008 nominee.
I’m not convinced the general public wants a third Obama term. Polling data is slowly starting to show that. The caveat is a feckless GOP
I like the part about a hammer. ;-)
After November she will eviscerate Obama and Obamacare (fix it as single payer). A wildcard would be for Hillary to attack Obamacare before November and the Cogressmen in trouble flock to her position.

Yeah, so true that the GOP can find a way to turn certain victory into a defeat, and that would happen if Bush or Christie were the nominee.
Byron, is this tongue-in-cheek?
Hillary, can we get an updated version of your “red phone moment” campaign commercial?
She’s twice the communist that Obastard is...she’d double down on every single failed commie policy that has brought us to the very brink of disaster. Our descent rate would at least double if she gets elected.
By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities as defined by the USG. Minorities vote more than two to one Dem and they currently constitute 37% of the voters. Each cohort that turns 18 will be more Dem than the previous one.
And each year we bring in 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants. Essentially, we are bringing in hundreds of thousands of future Dem voters. They don't call the GOP the Stupid Party for nothing.
Immigration's Impact on Republican Political Prospects, 1980 to 2012
First, the enormous flow of legal immigrants in to the country 29.5 million 1980 to 2012 has remade and continues to remake the nation's electorate in favor of the Democratic Party.
Second, the partisan impact of immigration is relatively uniform throughout the country from California to Texas to Florida even though local Republican parties have taken different positions on illegal immigration. The decline does not seem to vary with the local Republican Party's position on illegal immigration.
Third, if legal immigration levels remain at the current levels of over one million a year, it will likely continue to undermine Republicans' political prospects moving forward. Further, if the substantial increases in legal immigration in Senate's Gang of Eight bill (S.744) were to become law it would accelerate this process. Conversely, lowering the level of legal immigration in the future would help stem the decline in the Republican vote.
Three related findings help explain why immigration reduces the Republican vote:
Immigrants, particularly Hispanics and Asians, have policy preferences when it comes to the size and scope of government that are more closely aligned with progressives than with conservatives. As a result, survey data show a two-to-one party identification with Democrats over Republicans.
By increasing income inequality and adding to the low-income population (e.g. immigrants and their minor children account for one-fourth of those in poverty and one-third of the uninsured) immigration likely makes all voters more supportive of redistributive policies championed by Democrats to support disadvantaged populations.
There is evidence that immigration may cause more Republican-oriented voters to move away from areas of high immigrant settlement leaving behind a more lopsided Democrat majority.
I dream of Hillary in a federal prison, in a striped pants suit.
Said the bitch whose claim to fame as Sec State is an odometer.
Add to that, hitlary doesn’t golf or get distracted like barak does. She would be on task all day every day.
And she is a man hater. Boy won’t that be fun.
Imagine her appointments to cabinet positions.
