Republican Rep. David Valadao says hes not worried that Congress failure to pass immigration legislation will hurt his prospects for re-election to a district in Californias agricultural heartland. Same goes for GOP Rep. Jeff Denham, who represents a neighboring district in the states San Joaquin Valley.
Still, the California congressmen are making sure voters know they support an immigration overhaul. Theyre aware that Democrats will try to turn the congressional gridlock into an advantage during this years midterm elections.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent $300,000 on television ads in Valadaos district, noting that he is the son of immigrants. [ ]
Sounding a lot like Democrats, some Republican members of Californias congressional delegation are making the case that changing the law is necessary to help farmers and businesses and to keep families together.

This is what happens when you try to be a Republican in areas that are FLOODED with immigrants - if you want to keep your job, you sure as hell better follow the agenda of their leaders, who are just itching to oust you.
Pass Amnesty, and Republicans nationally will be forced to do the same, or even be a smaller minority. That will be the end game for conservatives.
Just laugh at the CalGOP Country Club.
They pretend that they’ll work hard to get elected to public office again, but it’s just a ruse to get other people to finance their cocktail parties.
