Shinseki has support from Obama, the only one that counts. It certainly has served Eric Holder well.

Okay, well as long as everyone involved is “mad” that makes it alright.
Carry on.

is one step like this one as important as it was sufficient? Seems a bizarre statement?
They're already calling it "sufficient" ?

Despite the high dudgeon and all of the
“Is this a dagger I see before me?”
histrionics of all the king’s men,
even the Ministry of Truth couldn’t hide the fact that ....
“He had already announced his intention to retire this year”.
So big whoop.
They pulled this same happy crappy over at the IRS: a clueless underling about to retire thrown under the bus, albeit with unspecified remuneration.
We want ... the king to resign.
He’s evil.

So, they “fire” the one who is eligible for government retirement.

As lohg as the secrer waiting lists were also race based, moving blacks to the front of the line, I'm sure he still gets his bonuses and $500,000,000 of new office furniture as his legacy.
High fives for a proble government employee solution.

Susan Ferrechio on Greta said Susan Ferrechio on Greta said Shinseki has support on Hill. Theyre willing to give him time to try to fix the VA. Greta said hes had five years! Congress need to pass laws giving Shinseki the authority to fire Federal workers. Union or no union.

If the older ObamaVAcare is crumbling, then how long will it take for this new and improved Obamacare to crumble?
If these two Federal Medical Programs were to be combined, say on Christmas Eve this year, would the surviving name be : OBAMA VERY AWFUL CARE?

"I've got the scars to prove it" That this pos could be that obtuse to use that analogy when referring to an issue where real men with actual scars, limbs blown off, horrifically burned...is beyond comprehension...but par for the course for this administration.

But, but, what happened to the investigation? Are you referring to the one that would likely show that the guy was merely following orders of those above him????

The VA has created a system of perverse incentives... No matter how many people are publicly ‘fired’ or humiliated, the system will treat vets like shit.

I would generally support privatizing.
I’m no expert on VA care, but I believe in private practice.
My dad would not go to a VA hospital and he was always better off, as far as he said and we could tell.
A voucher or credit system seems workable to me. They might even be able to sell off some of the buildings.
Best wishes!
