Lois Lerner, the IRS official held in contempt of Congress on May 7, is a proud American and the daughter of a war hero, according to her stepmother.
Svetluse Kramosilova Lerner, 73, said Air Force Major Martin Lerner — who died in 2008 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery — “would be very proud of Lois for standing up to Congress.”
Lerner invoked her Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination and refused to answer any questions about the IRS targeting of conservative groups.
But she’s a patriot, like her dad, her stepmom says...

Somehow I have the feeling his first wife of 55 years wouldn’t agree with Svetluse.
I think that someone else was fishing in Martin Learner’s pond. In my opinion, he had good character and principles and again, in my opinion, Lois Learner doesn’t. The apple doesn’t fall that far from the tree.
“Would” is a liberal’s favorite word - it costs them nothing and nobody ever calls them on it. If the guy in question can’t speak for himself, it doesn’t count.
Was her war-hero father also a lying, totalitarian puke? If so, he would be proud of Lois Lerner.

So, her mommy says her war war hero daddy would be proud that she lied and stonewalled congress after committing illegal acts. Somehow I doubt that someone who fought to defend the Constitution would be proud of someone metaphorically spitting on it.
