I guess she will turn 18 before the election...
This West Virginia 17-year old just beat an incumbent state delegate.
Nice.
Here’s another campaign angle she should use that also worked for Mayor Ed Koch of NYC. Here ads should read:
I am a Fiscal Conservative, Im pro-life. Im pro-marriage Im pro-family. Im pro-second Amendment. Im pro-business. Im pro-jobs Im pro West Virginia. These are my personal and political beliefs! And if you agree with 80% of my positions, then vote for me. If you agree with 100% of my positions, then see a psychiatrist.
I think they said she turns 18 in July. If that month is incorrect, she definitely turns 18 before November.
I’d worry about her lack of experience—a kid just coming out of High School does not know *anything* about dealing with the world. It doesn’t matter how smart she is, wisdom only comes with experience.
I’m happy and excited for this young lady and her family. I think her dad is a senator. She must really want this. You couldn’t make a 17 year old seriously consider this if they didn’t want to. I like that she is not afraid to think independantly, opposing main stream media.
This exactly what leadership needs to do. Nuance is something best left to buffoons like JF’ingK. State the principles of Americanism clearly and pledge to stand by them.
P.S. Dear Lefty trolls, in a nutshell this means ‘America for Americans.’ There is no ‘crypto-racism’ or ‘intolerance’ there, just stating what the pillars of the house are composed of. Don’t like it? Leave.
Blair, a strong Catholic said on her election signs: I am a Fiscal Conservative, Im pro-life. Im pro-marriage Im pro-family. Im pro-second Amendment. Im pro-business. Im pro-jobs Im pro West Virginia. These are my personal and political beliefs!
On another campaign sign she repeated those same stances adding, I will not compromise on these beliefs.
In a message to her fellow youth she says: Why wait till your 40, 50 or 60 to realize that conservative principles are the pathway to prosperity and success.
