In their first, and probably only, debate, GOP gubernatorial hopefuls Tim Donnelly and Neel Kashkari sparred Thursday over who would be most likely to beat incumbent Gov. Jerry Brown, in the process exposing deep divisions over the direction of the states Republican Party.
The approximately 90-minute event, moderated by the hosts of KFI AM 640s conservative radio program The John and Ken Show, hit on a wide range of topics, from gun rights to Kasharkis tenure at the U.S. Treasury Department.
A fake skeleton played the role of Brown, underscoring the governors absence.

J&K are more libertarian than conservative...that’s my take on listening to those 2.
I think it would lean Donnelly either way. Kashkari is big goverment.
Sorry, was talking about the article claiming J&K were conservatives...
I’ll probably go with Donnelly...
“A fake skeleton played the role of Brown”
I wonder who is playing the fake president?
The empty chair.
Kashkari is a non-white being run by the idiot RNC types in hopes of appealing to the fictional conservative immigrant.
He has no name recognition, no political following, no leadership, no charisma, and looks like a Lemur in the headlights.
Donnelly is a self made phenomenon. If it hadnt been for Bush family acquiescence to open borders in the last 30 years, he would have a serious chance.
But the natural constituency for the Republican party in CA is now a minority, and will lose to the aging, disgusting freak known as Jerry Brown.
Donnelly is married and has an Asian wife. I dont have a probem with Kashkari being divorced, but it ironic that Neel is the immigrant values candidate.
