This whole episode was instigated by Obama himself when it was reported that he was LIVID about the Citizen United Decision,he expressed that at his State Of The Union speech when he lambasted the Supreme court justices and Samuel Alito mouthed Not True to Obamas charges.
Check the timeline and you will see very shortly after that all the IRS shenanigans began

What are the criminal charges that could result from something like this? How many years in the Federal slammer?
Just curious. I seriously doubt anything is going to be done about it. After all, the DOJ is "owned" by the perpetrator of this massive crime.
Josef Stalin would have been proud to pull off something as nasty and effective as this. Just imagine crushing your political opponents and stealing an election in the USA using your government power and getting away with it!
