Maybe voters are beginning to understand that.
“We don’t intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all.” — President Ronald Reagan.
One of my favorite Rino arguments is their citing of Reagan’s thirteenth commandment about not criticizing other Republicans, always used to elect more Rino’s. Reagan went after Gerald Ford full bore and didn’t pull punches. Think Rocky versus Apollo Creed in the great old movies of the same year.
It’ll be interesting to see what committees Mitch McConnell puts him on. If I were Sasse I look into the doings of the Joing Committee on Printing, the Senate Special Committee on Aging, maybe the Rules and Administration Committee, anywhere that McConnell can marginalize him.
The Anti-Children, Free Stuff Family Dynasties.
You list is well intended,
Of that Im very sure.
What is lacking is the reason
That these family jobs endure.
We-who vote them in,
Must have our reasons?
We-who re-elect them,
Must have reasons too?
What the reasons are
It is obvious to know:
We all like to LIVE LARGE,
As we pursue what is good and free,
Charge everything to our kids:
charge, Charge, CHARGE!
Politicians will be politicians,
Just as boys will be boys.
Is what we laugh and say,
By those who hate their kids
And vote to make them pay, Pay, PAY!
No! You say, NO!
Youre not talking about ME!
I LOVE my kids! is your reply - - -
But who will be stuck
To pay your greedy free stuff bills,
When you die, Die, DIE?
__________
In 2014 it is time, - - - time for a change.
McConnell may not be re elected.
Ditch Mitch in the General.
Ted likes him - that’s good enough for me.
Come help us out in PA, Ted.
He's going to get the nomination which gives him a leg up on the reelection. Mitch may not be popular but right now you have to put the odds in his favor that he'll be Majority Leader next year.
Even as bad as McConnell is you'd prefer a Democrat in that seat and crazy Harry Reid running the Senate?
I’d prefer that McConnell spend more time with his family.
I had hoped we'd be able to accomplish that in the primary, but Matt Bevin turned out to be a real disappointment.
“FAIR” (Federation for American Immigration Reform) is one of the leading Conservative immigration organizations.
They have been asking all political candidates to sign a three part Pledge:
(1) No Amnesty of any kind.
(2) No increase in LEGAL immigration (now 1.5 million per year).
(3) No increase in LEGAL work visas (now about 1 million jobs).
Before the election, Sasse declined to sign the pledge, after saying he would have to study it more carefully.
Equally disturbing, the “Daily Caller,” allegedly a Conservative website, claimed that this pledge was “radical,” and that FAIR wants to stop ALL immigration, which is completely false.
Soon Ted and Lee will have lots of Conservative Reinforcements. R and D no longer cut it—The Republicans sold out to the Media/Progs. Now its more like Right-Left or Capitalist vs Communist (Socialist). We may well need a conservative Party soon as the RINOs Hold sway in the GOP.
“Itll be interesting to see what committees Mitch McConnell puts him on....”

What makes you think Mitch McConnell will still be a Senator in the next session of Congress? Or, if he is still a Senator, that he’ll be the Majority/Minority Leader?
Sorry to see you “troubled” and “disturbed” at this great victory for the Senate Conservatives Fund.
Because the best chance we had of getting rid of him was through the primary, and that's no longer looking like it's likely. So odds are he will be re-elected. And if he is then he'll remain the GOP leader in the Senate. There aren't enough conservatives to remove him.
If I were you, I wouldn’t bet the farm on Mitch being back next year.
