Rams defensive end Michael Sam is getting a reality show.
The Oprah Winfrey Network announced today that it is working with Sam on a reality TV project that will show his life as the first openly gay player in the NFL.
We are honored that Michael is trusting us with his private journey in this moment that has not only made history but will shape it forever, Oprah Winfrey said in a statement. I am proud of the focus on authentic storytelling in our new documentary series format.

It will show him getting “hurt”, most likely in training camp and have to sit out a year.
Sam wants to switch positions...His favorite position is either a wide receiver or a split end.
I thought he was looking for a tight end............
Before you know it, Michael Sam will be Obama’s new “body man” at the White House.
BARF ALERT
Only one question............
Why????
I called it a few days ago, only I thought the show would be on ESPN.
I figured he wanted to be a center.
You owe me a keyboard.
Oh, ick.
I’m thinking about some stand up comedy that Freddie Prinz did about gay football. That being said they should call the show;”lead balloon.”
He already was taping the reality show for weeks its been revealed and the shows cameras were there when he got drafted and the whole cake-eating kissing his boyfriend performance. So as many figured out, it was indeed staged and not some spontaneous act of affection, it was setup for Oprah cameras
The one about interior decorating might be suitable family fare.
One hopes Okra will issue an advance warning on the "Trip to the Proctologist Episode."
As a Public Health issue, Okra's producers ought to run a Medical Disclaimer across the bottom of the screen:
does that mean, also, that the NFL was pressured to make sure he WAS drafted? would the cameras have just packed up and gone, had he not been?
It's an opportunity for the elite media progressive crowd to showcase their march of “progress” in America, which progress of course is the ruination of the country.
I’ll wait for the episode when he’s cut.
>his private journey
Hardly. His fecal stained debut is anything but private.
ESPN will probably have their own version of the show, just cleverly disguised as daily new updates.
