One of the funniest stand-up comedy routines ever was by Bob Nelson at the 1984 Rodney Dangerfield Young Comedians Special on HBO. Nelson did his impression of “College Football All-Stars,” and one of the players spoke with a very effeminate voice and said that he was from the “University of San Francisco, tight end ... next year I hope to be a wide receiver ....” Absolutely hilarious (as were most of his other characters).
