I have never seen anyone hesitate to mention who was president(s) when they served, there is nothing personal at all about it.

One thing that you have made clear, is that you served, you have made it clear of when you did not serve, and that you are not now serving, but you have made it clear that you have served.
You just froze at saying who you served under, of the post empire leaders.
