Newly released internal Internal Revenue Service emails obtained by the group Judicial Watch document active direction by the federal tax agency's headquarters in targeting Tea Party and conservative nonprofit applicants during the 2010 and 2012 campaigns.
In a July 2012 email, Holly Paz, who was then director of the IRS Rulings and Agreements division, asked IRS lawyer Steven Grodnitzky “to let Cindy and Sharon know how we have been handling Tea Party applications in the last few months.”
Cindy Thomas is the former director of the IRS Exempt Organizations office in Cincinnati, and Sharon Camarillo was a senior manager in its Los Angeles office.
The email conflicts with claims by Obama administration officials that the targeting effort was done exclusively by the government workers in the Cincinnati IRS office.
In a February 2010 memo, Thomas directed a colleague to "let 'Washington' know about this potentially politically embarrassing case involving a 'Tea Party' organization.
In the April 2013 email, Lerner describes the broad criteria for including a nonprofit applicant among those targeted as being linked to the Tea Party under the BOLO -- "Be On The Lookout" for -- designation:
Such applicants included "organizations meeting any of the following criteria as falling within the BOLO's reference to "tea party" organizations: 1. 'Tea Party', 'Patriots' or '9/12 Project' is referenced in the case file. 2. Issues include government spending, government debt and taxes. 3. Educate the public through advocacy/legislative activities to make America a better place to live. 4. Statements in the case file that are critical of the how the country is being run."

The IRS Scandal is an example of a partisan witchhunt designed to thwart the political process during TWO elections (2010 and 2012) yet the MSM media and Democrat Party call the investigations a “witchhunt”.

I think it’s more than deceit, it’s more about Obama assuming that because he’s president, he doesn’t have to do anything the congress wants.
Showing, obviously, that Obama does not have (and I don’t believe he even wants to have) a true understanding of our government; and of course, he already HATES America so anything he can do to bring about her demise is just fine with him. That has been his plan all along. The fact the dems continue to go along with his PLOT .. is really scary.
Anybody who doesn’t already understand those FACTS is either deaf, dumb or just plain stupid.

Congress works too slowly, but are relatively methodical if the investigations are headed/guided by professional investigators (I’ve been involved in a few of them).
Judicial Watch is a very hungry JUNKYARD DOG with very big legal teeth and a master (Fitton and previously Klayman) who wants results and knows where to go to get them.
It is also a question of how you “frame the question/request”. As a journalist, I long ago learned how to ask the right question to the right person (esp. No. Vietnamese and VC defectors), in order to get information no one else had asked for. And it worked.
What we need are more congressional subcommittee hearings on items not yet looked at, including the Green Loans to Solyndra and the other Green energy fraud operations, and their ties to the Democrats; the destruction of our space program, esp. since Russia is cutting off our supply of supply rockets and use of the International Space Station; Red Chinese economic warfare, esp. re the Keystone Pipeline/Canadian oil sands operations; Red Chinese interference in American politics (Rep. Judy Chu, New York Chinatown, the Al Gore/Liu/Buddhist nuns affairs - all connected); and the marxist connections of many members of the Progressive Congressional Caucus.
A look at Sen. Carl Levin’s past contacts with the reds would be very revealing. Photos available upon request (actually, buy the book “The Enemies Within: Communists, Marxists and Socialists in the US Congress” 2013, and the earlier related book of similar name, 2011, by Trevor Loudon, c/o “www.pacificfreedomfoundation.org”. Lots of photos in them about our so-called “sworn to protect the US”

I really am having FUN with this one!!
It should be if we still followed the Constitution but too many in DC think they are above it. It also angers me there is Americans willing to overlook massive corruption just because these politicians are willing to "give" them things for their votes. Our Constitution was never meant to be any of this. For a long time, those who were sworn to uphold the Constitution, have failed miserably.
