Julia Roberts-Davison of Truro, N.S., has started a petition online after her Grade 8 daughter was told not to wear her cut-off jean shorts to school again. Julia, from one mom to another, stop being a dingbat. Stop pretending you don't know that short-shorts are worn by young girls for the purpose of "gaining attention." And for gawd's sake, grown the HELL up and stop the social-media gossip crap in the form of your "petition." Julia, you're an embarrasment to parents trying to do the right (not "perfect", not "holy", just right) thing. Julia, for perhaps the first time in your life, be a PARENT.
