I don’t know if this has been reported much anywhere (I don’t watch TV news). In any case, the father did say that the couple was black. I hope this gets better reporting in Savannah and elsewhere, though, and that the city addresses this honestly, because things like this can really be destructive to the tourist industry, a big source of income for Savannah.
The press doesn’t care about the ‘tourist industry’ - the press cares about making sure black crime against whites is hidden. If black on white crime - and the full extent of it becomes known - it’ll hurt democrats.
That’s the sum total of the reason for hiding it... If this had been a black family - and some white thugs had beaten them up it would be in the news for months. It would be ‘Zimmerman on speed’...
