I see no point in letting them do it and lying to ourselves about being above it.
We aren’t. And by giving them the field, they always run the ball to a win while we lie there flat on our backs like Charlie Brown after Lucy pulled the football.
One of the ugly truths people hate hearing is that many don’t like us/the right because we never fight for anything/fight back. We look like cowards. If we can’t even defend ourselves or mock that which needs mocking, who the hell would trust us on anything serious?
Appearance matters to the people we want to reach. I am not saying we should become liberals. I am saying we should stop fearing harsh language and say what we think before we silence our way into being criminalized.
