So now the cashiers at Wal-Mart can decide who gets to have majority control there? And the French Fry guy at Whataburger? And the orderlies at the Mayo Clinic?

Apparently, blood guilt is considered acceptable ‘justice’ among certain communities in this country. And we’ll know it for sure if there is no outcry against James’ remarks.

Well, sense of entitlement is taking a giant leap here-—along with the sense that “some folks” get to decide what “other folks” are entitled to own.

You can’t make this stuff up.

If LeBron James wants to criticize Sterling for lacking class, it would only be proper to criticize his own when he decided to pull a Modell on Cleveland.

Any secret recordings of dear LeBron that would deem him unfit for the NBA?

May the Clippers sink and drag down the NBA and LeBron James with them.

And may it happen slowly, so as to preserve the entertainment value of watching the process. The popcorn industry needs a stimulus!

>”As players, we want what’s right and we don’t feel like no one in his family should be able to own the team.”<

Can someone here Translate that comment for me?

LeBron has a College Degree, correct? Do they still teach English Composition Classes or am I just too damn old?

Well, lebron, when you own something (anything) we’ll listen to what you have to say. Buy a team and you may have our attention.

We should round up all white men and send them all to special re-education camps.

That’ll fix them. :)

Great, they want to steal a man’s business for something he said in private. I don’t agree with what he said, but this is a slippery slope. What’s next? Banning players for using the “N” word? Oh wait, they’re the privildged class. S/

LeBron and the players have no say whatsoever in this matter as the only thing they could do if the Sterling family continues to own the Clippers is to refuse to play in games against the Clippers and encourage advertisers not to advertise during Clippers’ games.

If the players quit and don’t want to play for or against the Clippers, the teams can bring in Replacement Players and the fans would be happy to see some fresh players on the court and there may even be some Replacement Players that are better than LeBron.

So if a person is 1/32nd related to a member of the Sterling family, is that enough Sterling blood to disqualify them from ownership? Got to keep those blood lines pure per LeBron and his fellow Democrat segregationists.

In fact, anyone related to the Sterlings should have a bright yellow Clippers sign on their clothing as a warning. Maybe even a tattoo number on their arm to keep track of them too. /s

LeBron James said Sunday that no one in the entire Sterling family should be allowed to own the Clippers...

At one point in our nation's history 'entire families' were owned as chattel - slaves. Done against the wishes of everyone in those families because many in this country wanted it, and the 'majority' allowed it.

It was the US Constitution that eventually freed them - our laws, and a President bold enough to enforce them to an extent beyond popular democratic will.

In effect, what I hear LeBron saying is "let's return to democratic mob rule and laws be damned."

LeBron James: Entire Sterling family should be prohibited from owning Clippers

What a fool!

In making such an overtly unjust and prejudiced statement, Lebron has outed himself as a bigot of the same hue as Mr. Sterling.

Is LeBron a hypocritical racist, or just a breathtakingly ignorant one?

Either way, Lebron's bigotry should be forcefully repudiated by any and all who truly wish to eliminate racism in our society.

“...we don’t feel like no one in his family should be able to own the team.”

So which is it LeBron? Are you for or against the owner? Operative word in his quote is ‘don’t’. ....Black lingo just often leaves me guessing what is meant.

Pro athletes need to play their sport and stop flapping their gums in public about politics, foreign affairs and domestic issues.

LeBron James is worshipped like an idol, especially in Miami Florida.

His mom allegedly assaulted a parking lot attendant. No charges.

A bunch of cops gave him a personal escort to a Jay-Z concert, shutting down traffic lanes in the process. Nothing.

Early in his tenure shooting hoops here, he stormed off the court after a game, bumping angrily into his coach and going to the locker room. No repercussions.

He is called “King” James. He can do no wrong.

James said it’s the right thing to do, from the players’ perspective, to disallow any kind of transfer of ownership within the Sterling family:

Unless I am mistaken, it is already owned by the family and the Dad within a Trust.

Let's see Lebron try to untangle family dynamics ( of which we have no knowledge of how they get along / interact ). Dealing with the Attorneys trying to get them to a consensus, Tax attorneys worried about capital gains if it does sell and that is just naming things that will make this sale an absolute mess that IMHO may take years to untangle.

I wonder if Lebron has ever worked with attorneys in complicated matters such as this or any complicated legal matters where family dynamics and personalities are evolved....

Good Luck with that Lebron....
