The House won’t even arrest our path over the cliff of fiscal ruin.

Lerner would be screaming to be arrested if a crowd of
irate taxpayers were battering at her door...

Arrests for contempt of congress are exceedingly rare. Only about 3 times since 1795.

She’s one of Barry’s smidgens. Not one smidgen has ever been arrested in the history of the United States Congess. However, the Rams did make “history” by drafting the first “openly gay” homosexual in the “history” of the NFL recently so who knows what could happen.

Congressional leaders like Boehner share in the shame of allowing the erosion of the fundamental rule of law in the USA, including freedom-supporting constitutional law, with Democrat socialists and assorted fascist/statist “leaders.”

Why did they even bother with the contempt charge if they weren’t going to arrest her? What is any purpose for it then?

People continuing to elect Republicans outside Cruz and about 2 others get what they deserve. And if he does not leave and lead people outside that snake pit there is no hope for him either. If Freepers continue to empower these idiots they are every bit responsible as a liberal for the destruction of America.

No more excuses.

The House has held Lois Lerner in contempt, but it won’t use its power to place the former IRS official under arrest, Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said on Sunday.

Well jeepers, MeshugeMikey, that's NO FUN at all.

Why is the House so reluctant to exercise its constitutional powers of arrest in this case — a case, if ever there were one, that deserved someone being arrested??? In this case, the "point person" of Executive malfeasance, Lois Lerner. She will tell you NOTHING unless severely pressed. Yet she is the one who can "point up the causal chain" to the White House itself.

I actually feel for the "poor woman." She was not the cause of these violations of First Amendment liberty, merely the enabler of them. If she indicates any willingness to speak at all directly and honestly, she is probably going to be thrown under the bus — or worse.

But she's' fighting for her pension at this point. So I expect her to be as recalcitrant in answering Congressman Gowdy's questions as possible.

And just let the Democrats "boycott" this Special Committee. You would think that they would understand that the public does not believe them to occupy the moral high ground as much as they would like to think. They better put some of their own on the Committee, if only to limit the destruction of their public reputation that the Committee might effect in their absence.

Some interesting elections lie ahead that should clarify these issues.

One just waits for the next shoe to drop.... Stay tuned!

I think they can only arrest her if she comes onto the grounds of the capitol. They can't go get her wherever.

But I could be wrong.

“but it won’t use its power to place the former IRS official under arrest,”

Well of course not. This is nothing more than a show
trial. The dead giveaway is that the person that is
obviously behind it all is not on trial and not even
mentioned. That’s the Obama himself. And guess what, the
Benghazi trial will fare no better and will be just as
big a joke as this mascaraed. No one is going to jail
and no one is going to be held accountable for anything
this regime does.

Time to send in some vigilantes. Take this bitch to jail one way or another.

It’s boiling down to it.

What is the point of finding someone in contempt if there is no consequence?

The House MUST enforce it’s finding of contempt or it makes itself a farce.

The republican party has been high jacked by a few powerful democrats. This is so ridiculous.

Kevin Brady (R) of The Woodlands Township, Texas is my representative in the U.S. House. He has voted to keep Boehner as speaker.

Brady won a primary challenge several weeks ago. I'd hoped he would have been tossed, but didn't happen. I will vote for the dog catcher before I cast another vote for Kevin Brady.

Lookin for an independent or libertarian on the ballot come Nov..

They need to find a lawyer as good as Gowdy. Trey has his plate full with Benghazi. Meanwhile Elijah Cummings is praying for a place to insert his personal race card now besides Lerner.
