HEARNE, Texas (AP) — Officials in a small Central Texas town voted Saturday to fire a police officer who shot and killed an armed 93-year-old woman during a confrontation at her home.

The city council's unanimous vote to dismiss Officer Stephen Stem came after a meeting that lasted less than 30 minutes, KBTX-TV reported.

the situation if they fired him. I've had Police try to intimidate me into saying or
doing something, for not talking to them. Some people can break while being intimidated.

I have 22.5 years on...will retire when I am ready. and as for your judgments of people you don’t know, well, that speaks volumes. I peruse this site because I have similar beliefs about big government, and I am a conservative at heart. I get news and information here that I can’t find elsewhere... read an article today where her “kin” got her into this situation by calling the cops on her for pulling a gun on them... and then she popped off a few shots at the cop.
