Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner this afternoon saying she would not be sending any Democrats to sit on the Benghazi select committee because it "isn't fair," or something. More from the Washington Examiner:
Democrats say they are concerned it will not allow their party to participate fairly in the investigation, which will involve subpoenas and viewing of classified materials related to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
According to a Democratic leadership aide, Pelosi rejects a rule that will not prevent chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., from issuing unilateral subpoenas without consulting with Democrats. The rules would also allow Republicans to prevent Democrats from interviewing witnesses.
Democrats say they do not want a repeat of the investigation conducted by the House Oversight panel, headed by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., which they believed was highly politicized: “Regrettably, the proposal does not prevent the unacceptable and repeated abuses committed by Chairman Issa in any meaningful way, and we find it fundamentally unfair.”
When should we call the waaambulance? Like I wrote yesterday, get ready for more temper tantrums from Democrats on this issue. This is only the beginning. The good news is Republicans are moving forward without her, as they should.
With Trey Gowdy the `rats are getting something they aren’t used to from the GOP-e: a hard-nosed `persecutor’ who won’t put up with their political horse-stuff.
Since they declined the dance invite, I hope he handles them as roughly as they deserve.
Hitlery is going to be the real loser here, I think, when they see what she did/failed to do, classic Clinton stuff, and it’s going to splash all over Barry as well.

The only other response the House could make would be to defund something. And I can't imagine Boehner doing that.

I am getting so sick of these commie lesbos and fags. Pelosi didn’t demand any “fairness” when her commie pals outnumbered the Republicans during the “climate disruption” (formerly known as climate change, global warming and global cooling) hearings. FUNP! Ho!
I have a feeling Nancy’s going to have her own “hearings” held at the same time as Gowdy’s official one, in a separate location, like she did with Sandra Fluke. You may recall that was not an official Congressional hearing, just something Nancy held on her own. What’s to keep her from doing something similar? The networks will cover hers instead of Gowdy’s.
I can only hope for the best. I had a go around on another thread today about being doom and gloom on this.
To be clear, I WANT this to go well. But we are only setting ourselves up for disappointment if we forget that Bhoner is no Tammy Wynette. He never stands behind his man. Gowdy has to overcome the pressure he is going to get from within. And it is nuts to think there will be none.

It will be up to Gowdy -- what he can improvise to stay one step ahead and how he responds when he hits the wall. He's got to build some meaningful support -- independent of the House leadership.
Pelosi is the biggest whiner and crybaby ever to hit Capitol Hill. She has absolutely no business being there. If Cauliphonya wasn’t loaded with drooling, low I.Q., ignorant potheads, child molesters and sexual deviants, she wouldn’t be. Her constant whining and nagging drives me crazy.

I hate the word fair when used as a moral equivalent. Use the word “Just” instead as in Justice. See how the meaning of the sentence changes for the better. I don’t want a fair process, I want a just process
