I don't get it. The more that I know about athletes and celebrities, the less likely I am to like them. If they were smart, they'd keep their personal lives quiet.

The problem is, you're not going to be allowed to not care. he will suck all the air out of the room for the whole season, since sports media people -- who already can't cover the sports angle and have to constantly harp on "human interest" -- will be falling all over each other to praise his "courage."

The Commish "wants very much for him to succeed." Why? The Commish thinks drafting him will "display the NFL's commitment to 'diversity.'" Last time I checked in, the NFL was not all that diverse -- nor should it be. It's all about football. Or at least, that's what real football fans want...
