An influential Christian lobbyist has said he is planning to build a 'national coalition' to relentlessly boycott any team that drafts gay NFL prospect Michael Sam.
Jack Burkman, head of the Washington, D.C. lobbying firm J.M. Burkman & Assoc., said he would 'leverage his political clout' to ensure that the franchise that selects the player would get 'roughed up financially.' ...
'We shall exercise our First Amendment rights and shall not stop until the drafting NFL franchise cannot sell a single ticket, jersey or autographed football,' said Burkman. 'In short, we shall be relentless.' ...

How many fornicators and adulterers are on an NFL team at any given time? "Make it rain..."
This guy must be trolling the same was Fred Phelps did. Maybe Jack Burkman is vying to take Phelps' place, hmmm, Westboro you have some competition.

Sounds like a false-flag operation to me. Yep, this lobbyist is undoubtedly hired by the Rats, to "equalize" perception away from their massive pro-gay totalitarian attacks on the likes of Brendan Eichs (Mozilla), The Beverley Hills Hotel, and others.

Exactly. Find some background on this guy and I bet you find he's got ties to the democratic party. Or Soros at least.

Sounds like a false-flag operation to me. Maybe. Maybe not. If you don't think we have whackos on our side, you're living in a fantasy world.

It’s Round 7 Pick 12. Michael Sam is still on the board.

If I’m C.J. Mosley I’m over-the-top pissed at the SEC for pairing my name with his by making us co-Defensive Players of the Year. I’d make them remove his name or remove mine.

“He has also said he is drafting a bill that would ban gay players from joining the National Football League.”
That would be a good start and a movement that needs to begin right now with the conservative members of the House.

He has a track record as a conservative lobbyist, he does a weekly talk show on satellite. Apparently he was a client of the DC Madam at one time.

Thanks for the info on this "stand-up guy" as a model of conservative values.
I stand corrected.
Yeesh. If he's going to condemn Sam, at least HE could set a good example.

So he really wants the federal government veto power over who a private business can hire? How is that in any way a conservative solution to the problem?
This is a marketplace of ideas. We are not yet so bankrupt that we need fall back on the might of the FedGov to make our point. We need better arguments, not Federal overseers.
