Good news.
But remember OK has primary runoffs. Many freepers are supporting Randy Brogdon, a third major candidate that’s siphoning support from Shannon. There are also several minor candidates further splitting the vote, it would be hard to get 50%.
A Shannon/Lankford runoff appears to be very likely.
Yep Oklahoma does have runoffs! A 50 percent runoff!
When a head-to-head runoff between Shannon and Lankford was polled, Shannon held an 8-point lead over Lankford, which is consistent with the 10-point lead Shannon had in Public Opinion Strategies poll conducted on behalf of a group that supports Shannon.
Sarah Palin endorsed T.W. Shannon, huh? She must have thought that he was Shannon Tweed, because I read on FR that she only endorses female candidates.
Shannon is not the only conservative in this election, but he’s the one who will make the runoff against the less conservative Lankford, and he’s the ine who will become a conservative superstar in the U.S. Senate.
This is good news. Nothing against Brogdon, but Shannon is the best candidate running.
