I wonder what “all” will mean.
Probably finally finished shredding the bad ones...
Now the White House can let her hang.
All ... as in “any that don’t incriminate her.”
“the agency agreed”
She getting thrown under the bus?
...and the shredders will have “accidents.”
Yes, they’ve agreed to turn over all Lois Lerner’s emails.....in about 2.6 years.
How will anyone know for sure if they get them all? A lot of time has gone by; plenty of opportunity to doctor/erase the most damning ones, seems to me.
Any damn'ing emails between Lerner and Obama or Lerner and any other "high level" government operatives have been removed.
Sure, one or two emails that indict Lerner but don't indict anyone else may be left (just to satisfy the easily distracted) but beyond that ..... YAWN.
The Obama Administration has covered up another scandal. When Obama told O'Reilly "not a smidge" of IRS corruption during his Superbowl interview, Obama KNEW the files were being cleansed.
Which means she used a yahoo account for the worst ones.
Was she using other email accounts outside of the official .gov ones like the former EPA director?
ALL REDACTED.
Waddya bet?
Here’s the problem. If the IRS did stupid things, like editing, some of the recipients might have kept paper copies. I know if I got an email that seemed to be asking me about something illegal or unethical I printed it and kept a copy. It is now normal corporate procedure to permanently erase emails after x days. I’m shocked they kept them.
Shredders? folks, E mails it will be an electronic file.
Oh, some copies may be printed, but it will be e-forensics.
Don’t kid yourselves
There is a neat trick these government officals play
They create a fake email account, and share the userid/pwd with someone
Then they create emails and save them as a draft (not SENT)
The other person just looks at the DRAFTS folder for new messages to him that were never SENT
They'll turn over everything they can find, whether it exists or not.
Full-body under-the-bus-toss in 3....2....1....
“How will anyone know for sure if they get them all? A lot of time has gone by; plenty of opportunity to doctor/erase the most damning ones, seems to me.”
No absolute direct way, but if for example she was talking to XXX and YYY 4 times a day and suddenly there’s a 6-day gap....very Nixonian, don’tcha think?
Not that they wouldn’t/won’t try it.
If my private company has the right to monitor all my email, and all my Internet use while using a company-owned computer, then the representative of the people should have the same authority.
There should be no reason to have to request emails from a government agency, but even then, there should never be a denial of a request to provide them!
